Alan passed away on 6th February 2025 aged 69. We are heartbroken.

We will be having a private family cremation service. If you would like to contribute, we have organised a collection for the Lifeboats (RNLI). Alan was an enthusiastic sailor with 'unrefined potential' and, remarkably, never needed their assistance. We hope they continue to exist so future generations can explore the Goodwin Sands and return home with wild stories for their granddaughters.
